PADCO Now Lending in Schuylkill Haven
The Pottsville Area Development Corporation recently expanded its lending area to include the Borough of Schuylkill Haven. Now businesses within Schuylkill Haven’s Borough Limits can apply for financing through PADCO at an interest rate of 4.5%.

Pottsville Business Association Amateur Photo Competition
The Pottsville Business Association will kick off an Amateur Photo Competition on October 15th. The competition will provide for fifteen participants to pick up cameras from PBA’s offices at One South Second Street in Pottsville. Photos must be of the City of Pottsville. Voting will be completed online and the winner will receive:

• $100.00 in cash
• Photography lessons
• Membership to various arts organizations

The Pottsville Area Development Corporation, Pottsville/Schuylkill Technology Incubator and the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to create the Institute of Business Development. The Institute of Business Development is a seven week program designed for new and existing entrepreneurs seeking to start, expand and develop their ventures.
